If you’re working in CLO3D and looking for well-made, correctly sized patterns to get started, or to save time in development, you might find my Pattern Library on CLO-SET Connect a helpful resource.
At the time of writing, the library includes over 35 downloadable patterns, spanning womenswear, menswear, kidswear, accessories, and even digital fabrics. It’s a growing collection, and I’m regularly adding new content based on real project needs, training sessions, and feedback from learners.
Most of my basic blocks are completely free, designed to give individuals and small teams a reliable starting point for building garments in CLO3D. They’re correctly sized and developed with CLO in mind.
There are also paid patterns available, particularly for more complex garments or product-specific styles. These are ideal if you’re looking to test 3D simulations on a real garment structure, prep for e-commerce visuals, or explore how layering and construction can be visualised digitally.
This project started as a way to reduce duplication in my own work. I was building the same blocks over and over again for training sessions, client projects, and content creation. It made sense to store them in one place, and then I realised others might find them useful too.
I’ve always believed in practical learning tools, and this library is designed with that in mind. If you’re a beginner in CLO3D, the free blocks offer a simple and clean starting point. If you’re more experienced, they give you a base to experiment, test fabric maps, or speed up your prototyping process.
Offering downloadable patterns is also part of my wider commitment to sustainability. By providing digital base blocks, I can help reduce paper use, lower reliance on physical sampling, and encourage more efficient development workflows.
Patterns can be used not only for garment creation in CLO3D, but also for e-commerce mock-ups, virtual fittings, and direct-to-fabric printing, all without needing a physical sample to begin with.
You can find the full library on CLO-SET Connect. It’s regularly updated and includes:
If you’re not sure where to start, feel free to get in touch. I’m always happy to recommend patterns based on your learning goals or development needs.
