Last week, I had the chance to attend the VIP launch of the Style3D Styleverse Innovation Centre in collaboration with Fashion-Enter Ltd, and it was an inspiring evening from start to finish.
Held at Fashion-Enter’s Innovation Lab, the event brought together a fantastic mix of designers, educators, and technologists, all curious about what’s next for digital fashion. The opportunity to connect in person with so many forward-thinking professionals was a real highlight.
One of the most valuable parts of the evening was hearing from Eric Liu, the founder and CEO of Style3D. His presentation explored the platform’s current functionality and gave us an exciting preview of what’s to come, particularly around AI. The integration of artificial intelligence into Style3D’s toolset holds huge potential for enhancing speed, creativity, and workflow in digital design.
The event also included a hands-on demo of the Style3D fabric scanner and 3D design tools, which are shaping up to be powerful additions for anyone working in digital product development. Being able to scan, visualise, and manipulate fabric in 3D opens up new ways to design, sample, and collaborate, without the need for physical waste.
As part of the evening, we were given a guided tour of Fashion-Enter’s Micro Factory, led by Caroline Ash, which really brought the innovation centre’s purpose to life. From Kornit Digital’s direct-to-fabric printing to Zünd’s advanced digital cutting machinery, it was clear that this space is set up for scalable, sustainable, and efficient production. It’s not just about new ideas, it’s about putting them into practice.
The demonstration showed how digital workflows can sit side-by-side with physical manufacturing to create a more seamless and responsive supply chain—something that many brands are now actively looking for.
Events like this aren’t just product launches, they’re about connection, conversation, and building community within the fashion tech space. I left feeling energised and full of ideas about how technologies like Style3D can integrate with other 3D tools in the industry, including CLO3D, to support more sustainable and collaborative ways of working.
A big thank you to the team at Style3D and Fashion-Enter Ltd for hosting such a well-organised and informative event. I’m looking forward to seeing how this innovation centre grows, and how it supports the next wave of digital transformation in fashion.
