Hi, I’m Laura

With over 20 years as a fashion industry practitioner and certified trainer, I’m here to help you improve your digital fashion workflow.

Fashion Toolbox was born with a clear vision; to close the skills gap between education and the ever evolving needs of the fashion industry. My mission is to close that gap by making 3D skills more accessible, practical, and aligned with real-world production needs.

Training has always been at the heart of what I do. I work with individuals and fashion teams to build practical, job-ready skills in 3D design – without the jargon or overwhelm. Alongside this, I offer hands-on support in 3D product development, digital pattern making, and photo-real mockups to bring ideas to life with more technical accuracy and less waste.

But wait: why should you go digital?

Innovation is reshaping the fashion industry, and 3D digital fashion is at the forefront of this transformation. I have worked with teams who produced up to ten physical samples for a single garment – not due to poor design, but because key decisions weren’t made early enough. Digital workflows allow teams to make faster, more informed choices, focusing on design, fit, and function – not repeated sampling or missed deadlines.

Make the product, faster than ever

3D fashion allows for rapid prototyping and real-time adjustments, slashing design timelines and reducing the need for physical samples.

Make precise design changes

With 3D fashion, designers can meticulously control every detail, from fabric draping to garment fit, ensuring unparalleled precision in the design process.

It’s good for the environment

3D fashion minimises the need for physical prototypes, contributing to reduced waste, sustainable practices, and a more environmentally conscious design approach.

What I Do

Fashion Toolbox helps you turn digital fashion skills into real-world impact. I deliver bespoke training, consultancy, and development services designed to fit your workflow – not the other way around.

3D Product Development

I support businesses in bringing their collections to life with precision and clarity. From concept through to production, I create accurate 3D garments that reflect design intent and fit. It’s a faster, more visual way to develop products with fewer surprises down the line.

Digital Fashion Training

I offer tailored digital fashion training for individuals, teams, and students looking to build real-world 3D skills. Sessions are hands-on, software-focused, and shaped around industry-relevant workflows. From beginners to experienced professionals, I provide the support you need to grow with confidence.

Digital Product Photography and Mockups

I create high-quality digital twins of garments, ready for use across ecommerce, lookbooks, and marketing. Using 3D and AI tools, I produce photoreal imagery on digital models without the need for physical samples. It’s a fast, flexible solution that supports visual storytelling at every stage.

Digital Pattern Making and Printing

I digitise paper patterns, create new ones from concept, and prepare print-ready files for manufacturers – no specialist software needed. Patterns are delivered in industry-standard formats, including DXF, for seamless integration into any workflow. It’s a flexible, accessible solution for modern production.

“I wanted to do this course to further my hobbies and create a business in the future. I’ve learnt how to design and create my own patterns digitally I’ve enjoyed all of it, it’s been fun and has gone so quickly!!”

What I've done

I’ve supported brands and designers in developing digital garments that are accurate, considered, and production-ready. This section showcases some of that work – created to speed up development, improve communication, and reduce reliance on physical samples.
