If you’re working in CLO3D and looking for well-made, correctly sized patterns to get started, or to save time in development, you might find my Pattern Library on CLO-SET Connect a helpful resource.

The library includes a growing collection of downloadable patterns and digital resources spanning womenswear, menswear, kidswear, accessories and fabrics.. It’s a growing collection, and I’m regularly adding new content based on real project needs, training sessions, and feedback from learners.

Free and Paid Patterns for Every Use

Most of my basic blocks are completely free, designed to give individuals and small teams a reliable starting point for building garments in CLO3D. They’re correctly sized and developed with CLO in mind.

There are also paid patterns available, particularly for more complex garments or product-specific styles. These are ideal if you’re looking to test 3D simulations on a real garment structure, prep for e-commerce visuals, or explore how layering and construction can be visualised digitally.

Need something more specific? If an existing block or garment pattern does not suit your project, I also offer Digital Pattern Making & Printing for custom product development and pattern requirements.

Why I Created This Library

This project started as a way to reduce duplication in my own work. I was building the same blocks over and over again for training sessions, client projects, and content creation. It made sense to store them in one place, and then I realised others might find them useful too.

I’ve always believed in practical learning tools, and this library is designed with that in mind. If you’re a beginner in CLO3D, the free blocks offer a simple and clean starting point. If you’re more experienced, they give you a base to experiment, test fabric maps, or speed up your prototyping process.

Want to make your practice more purposeful? I’ve also shared the learning loop I recommend for moving beyond tutorials and building CLO3D skills through real projects in How to Learn CLO3D Faster.

Supporting Sustainable, Digital Workflows

Offering downloadable patterns is also part of my wider commitment to sustainability. By providing digital base blocks, I can help reduce paper use, lower reliance on physical sampling, and encourage more efficient development workflows.

Patterns can be used not only for garment creation in CLO3D, but also for e-commerce mock-ups, virtual fittings, and direct-to-fabric printing, all without needing a physical sample to begin with.

What you’ll find in the library

The library includes a growing mix of resources designed for CLO3D learning, experimentation and product development, including:

  • Free basic blocks that can be used as starting points for garment development
  • More developed garment styles and accessories
  • Digital fabrics for material and texture testing
  • Patterns that can be adapted for training, practice and your own CLO3D projects

Whether you are looking for a clean block to practise with or a more developed garment to explore construction and simulation, the aim is to give you something practical to start from.
