CLO-SET can be used as more than a place to store 3D garment files. It also gives teams a shared space to review products, leave feedback and keep communication connected to the digital garment rather than spreading comments across emails and separate documents.
In this tutorial, I walk through the CLO-SET workflow available when the video was recorded, including how the folder structure is organised, how to open and navigate a product in the 3D Viewer, and how to add comments for other people reviewing the file.
I also show how comments could be exported as a PDF, which can be useful when feedback needs to be shared or retained outside the platform.
Version note: This tutorial was recorded in December 2024. CLO-SET has since introduced a renewed Content Page and expanded its collaboration tools, so some screens and menu locations now look different. The core principles of reviewing content, leaving comments and collaborating around a shared product are still relevant, but the current platform also includes newer comment, annotation and Workroom collaboration features.
CLO-SET now allows comments to be added across the newer Content Page, including while reviewing different tabs, and users can mention individuals or Teams in comments. Workroom-level comments and expanded annotation tools have also been introduced, making feedback less tied to one individual viewer screen than it was when this tutorial was recorded.
See collaboration as part of a wider team workflow: In my Charlotte Stiffell training case study, CLO-SET organisation formed part of a broader programme built around the team’s existing products, patterns and development process. Read the corporate CLO3D training case study
