Fashion Toolbox was founded in 2019 with a clear purpose: to help fashion professionals and brands embrace digital design and development without losing touch with craftsmanship, fit, or creativity.
Built on over two decades of industry experience, the business is grounded in real-world garment development and driven by a passion for teaching and innovation.
I’m Laura, a CLO3D Technical Designer and Educator with a background in design, pattern cutting, and product development. I’ve worked across multiple sectors, from high street to technical apparel, and now specialise in helping others transition from traditional workflows into the world of 3D fashion. I’ve taught hundreds of learners, collaborated with global brands, and supported manufacturers and start-ups alike in building confident, sustainable digital practices.

Born from my MA in International Fashion Design Management, Fashion Toolbox began as a way to support students and early-career professionals navigating the fast-changing fashion industry. This year also marked the start of my journey with CLO3D, learning, testing, and sharing my knowledge with others while introducing 3D into real business contexts.
After successfully integrating CLO3D into three separate businesses, I refined my service offering to focus fully on digital product development and training. From here, I began working with brands and individuals to embed 3D into their workflows, helping reduce oversampling, improve communication, and build confidence in digital tools.
In partnership with CAD for Fashion, I began delivering tailored training to more brands and teams across the industry. This year also marked the start of my work with higher education institutions, supporting CLO3D curriculum development and delivering short courses at universities across the UK.
Now a trusted education partner with UKFT and multiple UK universities, Fashion Toolbox continues to support returning institutions with annual CLO3D training for students. With a growing list of successful projects and long-term partnerships, the focus ahead is on expanding course offerings, evolving masterclass formats, and helping even more professionals embrace digital fashion with confidence.
