What changed in the CLO3D 2025 interface?

CLO3D 2025 introduced several interface changes that moved familiar tools and altered the way users accessed parts of the software. For existing CLO3D users, some of the biggest questions were simple ones: where has the Library gone, where is the UV Editor, and what happened to Parametric Pattern?

In this tutorial, I walk through the main interface changes introduced in CLO3D 2025 and show where to find some of the tools and files that moved. I also look at the redesigned Library, accessing CLO-SET, reconnecting favourite folders and navigating the updated layout more efficiently.

What I cover in the tutorial

  • The redesigned CLO3D Library
  • Downloading files from the new Library
  • The updated Avatar folder layout
  • Accessing CLO-SET through the Library
  • Linking files and folders
  • Reconnecting your old favourite Library folders
  • Renaming Libraries
  • Using Library search
  • Reverting to the previous Library view
  • Finding the UV Editor in CLO3D 2025
  • What happened to Parametric Pattern

Looking for the replacement for Parametric Pattern? I’ve created a separate tutorial showing how to use the CLO3D Pattern Drafter, including measurement-based drafting, garment flats and AI-supported pattern generation.

Version note: CLO3D has continued to change since this tutorial was recorded.
This video covers the interface introduced in CLO3D 2025, so some menus, tools and locations may look different in CLO 2026 and 2026.1. The tutorial is still useful for understanding the 2025 transition, but I recommend checking the current CLO interface if you are following along in a newer version.
In newer versions, Pattern Drafter remains available from the 2D menu, while the UV Editor is accessed through the Materials/UV menu. CLO 2026.1 has also introduced additional interface changes, including customisable 2D and 3D toolbars and updated context menus.

New to CLO3D rather than updating from an older version? My CLO3D User Interface Walkthrough for Beginners gives you a broader introduction to the workspace and where the main tools are located.
